General Purpose of  Position:

To help employees perform at their optimal best, address their personal growth goals, and to empower employees to develop the knowledge and skills to learn and achieve success. Education of staff will ensure a continuum learning experience to obtain a transfer of knowledge that will be utilized within staff roles of their departments and positions.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Education/Training – Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups
  • Customer Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest services through the training curriculum
  • Administration and Management – Knowledge of business and management practices principles involved in strategic planning, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and training resources
  • Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs and to inform management of training program status
  • Design, plan, organize and direct orientation and training for staff
  • Evaluate training materials such as outlines, text, or handouts
  • Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness
  • Present information using a variety of instructional techniques in formats, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
  • Identify the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge and skills

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Working telephone
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Pass all regulatory checks
  • Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must obtain all required trainings of Consumer Services, Inc.
  • Must obtain all required training of all contracted PIHP(S)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPI Certified Instructor
  • CPR-AED-FA Instructor

Essential Work Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel
  • Adhere to Recipient Rights and Confidentiality Standards at all times
  • Adhere to CSI Policies and Procedures
  • Adhere to Work Rules and Ethical Standards
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a high volume environment
  • Understand the basic Disney Way Philosophy in which CSI subscribes
  • Possess organizational skills and phenomenal people skills
  • Must be able to speak to large groups
  • Team player

Preferred Technology Skills:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Required Equipment:

  • Reliable personal vehicle for transportation
  • Working Telephone

Additional Notes/Essential Conditions:

Physical: Standing, support weight other than own, walking, stooping, kneeling, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, use of telephone, general good hearing, general good vision, speaking, and ability to travel.

Mental: Reading, writing, simple arithmetic, analyze data/report information, work under pressure, rapid decision making, implement recommendations, pleasant, congenial, calm, courteous, firm, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Environmental: Location-wide setting, exposure to general public, and possible aggressive clientele, possible exposure to clientele with poor health and hygiene, ability to work evenings and weekends, as necessary.
